Marketing Research

Marketing research and strategy are like a map and compass. When used together, they provide direction and guidance toward an intended destination. In business terms, it’s about understanding markets, customers and prospects, and then plotting out a strategy to best serve their needs. Gaining this understanding can be as simple as tracking sales activities through a win/loss report or as intensive as a full-blown market analysis.

Provident Partners has helped many companies get where they wanted to go by using proven marketing research tactics and sound marketing strategies. The services we offer include, but are not limited to:

  • Market and customer assessment
  • Survey development, distribution, tracking and analysis
  • Focus groups

Marketing Strategy

Strategy is the ability to see the forest though the trees. It is difficult for many working in daily operations to give ample time to building a good strategy. Provident Partners works to provide clients with a strategy foundation to reach markets. We give two approaches with clear recommendations and pros and cons. This gives clients the clarity to make educated decisions. From that point, it comes down to creative, disciplined execution and budgeting.

Provident Partners provides strategy in two formats:

Strategy workshop - This group brainstorming session uncovers clients’ strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The deliverable is a general recommendation document on internal and external communication and marketing tactics.

Marketing planning session - This is a two-phase process. The first step involves a session to identify objectives, competition and market demographics. The second is a detailed marketing plan that includes tactics, messaging, distribution methods, costs, frequency of tactics, contact information, and a customized marketing calendar. The client can then execute the program using their own resources or engaging Provident Partners to execute the program.
